About Timer: Timer is my younger sister Aliyah’s dog and an incredibly special member of our family. We spent over a year searching for the right companion for her—one with the temperament to happily stay by her side, whether playing in the yard off leash or joining her on everyday adventures. While attending the Red Deer Dog Show in April 2026, we were chatting with Madison about our hopes of getting on her waiting list for a Labrador for Aliyah. To our surprise and excitement, Madison offered us Timer, whom they had retained as their pick male from the litter. We were absolutely thrilled and welcomed him into our home just two weeks later at nine months of age. From the very beginning, Timer and Aliyah formed an inseparable bond. They truly are best friends, spending their days playing fetch in the yard, dressing up, and heading out on countless adventures together. Timer has the most wonderful temperament. He is sweet, goofy, affectionate, and full of personality. He approaches every new experience with enthusiasm and pure joy, making him a pleasure to have around. We love this big, silly boy and are incredibly grateful to have him as part of our family.
Achievements: Timer made his debut in the conformation ring at just 10 months of age and exceeded every expectation. At his very first show, he was awarded Best of Breed from the Puppy Class before going on to earn a Sporting Group Fourth and Best Puppy in Group in an exceptionally competitive lineup. That same weekend, Timer completed his Canadian Championship with multiple Best of Breed wins. He remained undefeated in the classes throughout the weekend, earning Best of Winners at every opportunity. The following weekend, Timer continued his impressive start by being awarded Select Male at 7 of the 8 shows, earning all of the points required toward his Canadian Grand Championship. Under CKC regulations, however, a dog must also earn at least one major win after 12 months of age to officially complete their Grand Championship. A few weeks after celebrating his first birthday, Timer returned to the ring at the PGKC shows, where he was awarded Best of Breed at all four shows, securing the major win needed to officially earn his Canadian Grand Championship. Outside of the conformation ring, Timer enjoys spending time with Aliyah, and together they earned his 2-K9 Ruff Run title in the summer of 2026. We are incredibly proud of everything this young dog has accomplished so far and look forward to seeing what the future holds for him.
