About Goose: Most of the time we call him Goose, rather than Goosak and we sure chose the correct name when calling him Goose! Not only is he a silly goose but he also loves the sound of his own voice! He is a funny boy and is always making us smile and laugh. He is very outgoing and friendly. He absolutely loves people and is always up for a good belly scratch or cuddle! He is gentle, loving, and extremely smart! He is very driven and food motivated and learns things very quickly! His favourite trick is ‘Sit Pretty’. Goosak came to us from a wonderful breeder in South Dakota, USA and his pedigree is incredible. Paired with his beautiful looks and wonderful temperament we are so excited about this boy! Goose loves all other dogs and plays great with them, he is good with the puppies and loves kids. His best friends are Axel & Walker, he kisses Axel’s face and rolls around him and is a great roll model for Walker – it is quite funny! He is all round an amazing guy!
Achievements: Goose is incredibly smart and earned his Novice Trick dog title at just under 16 weeks – having only been with us for a couple weeks before hand! Goose was entered in our local dogshow as a baby puppy and was awarded 2/3 Best Baby Puppy in Working Group! We entered Goose in our annual local show the following year, May 2023 and he exceeded all our expectations getting his first 4 point major winning Best of Winners, Best of Breed (over multiple specials) and Working Group 3rd!! Thank you former breeder judge Susan Quesnel for this amazing win – what an honour!! Just a month later Goose was awarded Winners Male for 2 more points towards his Championship! Goose finished his Championship title at the Lakes District Kennel Club July 2023 in style winning a Best of Breed & Best of Winners! His first day in the ring as a Specials he was awarded another Best of Breed for his first Grand Championship points. January 2024 he earned his Triple Threat title! Goose was entered in our local show May 2024 where he was awarded 2 Best of Breed, 2 Best of Opposite, 3 Selects, a Working Group 3 and a WORKING GROUP 1!!! Goosey is now a Canadian Grand Championship <3 We are so extremely proud of our boy. Thank you to the judges who have awarded our boy so far! Goose completed beginner agility quickly and was able to bump ahead of the class to move up to Low Intermediate, he loves it so much and is such a smart boy! On June 4, 2023 Goose achieved his 2-K9 Ruff run title alongside his buddies Alice & Eb! Oct 2023 Goose was awarded his 5k Equinox Explorer title. Goose is a NATURAL on the sled, he is powerhouse and loves to run. He is an amazing addition to our teams. We are so proud of our little man and look forward to his future!
