About Rooster: Rooster joined our family in October 2024 at 5 months of age from our friend Naomi in the USA. I loved this girl so much at her 8 week evaluations and no surprise her breeder kept her as pick puppy. Fate had it’s ways and we were blessed to add her to our family. Rooster is the definition of a well-balanced, easygoing puppy. She is sweet-natured, well-mannered, and carries herself with a calm, pleasant temperament. Her only real quirk is her selective recall “hearing,” which keeps us laughing. She is relaxed and adaptable, enjoying time with both her people and her pack. Rooster is especially gentle with puppies and gets along well with every dog she meets, making her a lovely presence in any group setting. Rooster is handled and trained by my little sister for both show and trick work, and together they make a very cute and dedicated team. We are very proud of them both and love having Rooster as part of our family.

Achievements: On November 27, 2024, Rooster earned her first title, her TKN (American Novice Trick Dog), followed just days later by her Canadian Novice Trick Dog title. In December 2024, she added her 2-K9 Ruff Run title while running alongside her friend Mystic. Rooster quickly demonstrated her intelligence and trainability, picking up new commands with ease, including those learned from Mystic. In April 2025, working with her best friend Aliyah, she earned her Intermediate Trick Dog titles in both Canada and the United States, bringing her to five titles before the age of one year. In June 2025, Rooster made her conformation debut, handled entirely by her junior handler and close companion Aliyah. She earned 3 Winners Female, 5 Reserve Winners Female, and 1 Best of Winners, collecting her first 4 Championship points. She returned to the show ring in spring 2026 and completed her Canadian Championship in only her second weekend out, earning Best of Breed over specials and three Best of Winners. Moved into the specials class for the final day, she went on to earn Best of Breed for her first Grand Champion points. Rooster is also proving to be a valuable addition to our sled dog team. She is focused, driven, and shows strong potential in harness work, with the makings of a future lead dog. We are extremely proud of this smart, talented young girl and all she has accomplished so far.
