About Iroh: Iroh was one of our pick puppies from our Game of Thrones litter and now resides in Quebec with our good friends, Karel and Alex. From a very young age, we suspected he would excel as a working sled dog. He consistently demonstrated strong drive, always wanting to be out front, pulling with enthusiasm, and showing a natural desire to work. Karel-Ann approached us in search of a promising working prospect for her family and sled dog team—one with the structure, temperament, and quality to also succeed in the show ring and potentially contribute to her future breeding program. As Iroh developed during his first eight weeks with us, it became increasingly clear that he was the perfect match for her goals. Iroh formed an immediate bond with Alex when he came to pick him up and quickly won Karel’s heart upon arriving in Quebec. Like his mother, Mystic, he possesses an independent spirit, but he balances this with an easy-going nature and an exceptional temperament. He gets along effortlessly with everyone he meets, has a special fondness for puppies, and is a joy to have around. We absolutely adore this boy and are delighted to see him thriving with his loving family, doing exactly what he was bred to do.
Achievements: We are incredibly proud of Iroh and all that he has accomplished. While success in the show ring is an important tool for evaluating breeding stock, it is equally important that a Siberian Husky possesses the ability to perform the job for which the breed was originally developed—working efficiently in harness and excelling as a sled dog. During only his second season in harness, Iroh quickly earned a position as Karel-Ann’s primary lead dog, confidently leading teams of 8–10 dogs. One of his most impressive achievements to date was leading the team for the entire 75 km of the Boreal Sled Dog Race in Quebec, demonstrating both his endurance and natural leadership abilities. In addition to his accomplishments on the trail, Iroh has earned his 2-K9 Ruff Run title and has successfully competed in and completed several canicross races. His versatility, work ethic, and enthusiasm continue to impress us, and we look forward to watching him achieve even more in the years to come—especially on the trail.
