About Walker: Walker comes to us from the highly respected dual-purpose kennel Alkasiber Kennels in New Hampshire. When Ann first sent photos of Walker, it was clear he was a puppy we needed to have, little did we know that he was from the last Alkasiber litter that Ann & George would ever breed. He is named after the beloved actor Paul Walker, and fittingly, he is just as handsome lol. As George and Ann said, “you are getting four dogs in one,” and Walker truly lives up to that description. Walker is bold, confident, and self-assured, while still maintaining a pleasant and social nature. He has a big personality and is not shy about “talking back” when things do not go his way. He is playful, energetic, and loves to run and do zoomies, especially with his friends Aura and Goose. He is the most dominant dog in our kennel and keeps us on our toes. He is very intelligent and deeply bonded with his people and pack, very much a “mama’s boy.” Walker enjoys people of all ages, though he is always on the move and prefers activity over long cuddle sessions. His energy, charm, and personality make him an unforgettable part of our pack, and he is very much loved.
Achievements: Walker is a fun, driven dog with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for training. At six months of age, he earned his 2-K9 Ruff Run title, followed by his 5K Equinox Explorer title at seven months, and his Novice Trick Dog title at 7.5 months. In March 2024, he achieved his Triple Threat title just before his first birthday, demonstrating both consistency and versatility across multiple activities. Walker has also shown great interest in agility, successfully passing his first round of novice training. He has only been shown in the conformation ring once as a puppy so far, as I am letting him mentally mature so he does not drag me around the ring lol. October 2023, he was awarded Best Puppy in Breed all three days of the shows. In August 2024, Walker entered his first Sprinters trial and excelled, earning his Novice Sprinters title along with 42 additional points toward the next level. Walker has also earned his TKN and TKI titles (American Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog), making him a certified trick dog in both Canada and the United States. In January 2025, he added his Canadian Intermediate Trick Dog title to his achievements. In Fall 2025, Walker returned to Sprinters and successfully completed his Sprinter title, running with drive and enthusiasm and finishing with points to spare. He is an excellent member of our sled teams with extreme strength and drive and makes a wonderful wheel dog. We are very excited to continue developing his talents and see what he accomplishes in the future.
