About Fen: Fen joined our family in October 2024 at 2.5 years of age, coming to us from our friend Naomi in the United States. He is an exceptionally sweet, relaxed, and easygoing boy who adores everyone he meets. While he tends to be more independent when spending time in the yard, he is always eager for a cuddle and enjoys giving affectionate kisses. Fen has a gentle, loving temperament and a heart of gold, strongly reminiscent of his sire, Kristoff, who we deeply admire. When excited, he is quite expressive and “talks” with the most endearing little barks that never fail to make us smile and laugh. Affectionately known as our “teddy bear boy,” Fen is wonderfully soft, cuddly, and full of charm. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and is especially kind and patient with puppies. With his calm spirit and gentle nature, he is a truly special member of our family, and we feel very fortunate to have him with us.
Achievements: Fen made us incredibly proud from the very beginning. Within his first two months with us, he earned his NTD (Canadian Novice Trick Dog), TKN (American Novice Trick Dog), and 2-K9 Ruff Run titles in December 2024. In spring 2025, Fen went on to achieve his ITD and TKI titles (Canadian and American Intermediate Trick Dog). He then made his debut in the conformation ring in May 2025 at our local show, where he quickly made an impression, finishing his Championship in a single weekend. His debut resulted in 6/8 Winners Male placements, along with 4 Best of Winners and 2 Reserve Winners Male. The following show weekend, Fen continued his success with a Best of Breed, 4 Best of Opposite, and 2 Select Male awards, putting him more than halfway to his Grand Championship title. He completed his show season in June at the Grande Prairie shows, where he earned additional points with two Select Male and one Best of Opposite placement, finishing his Canadian Grand Champion title in just 2.5 weekends. In July and August 2025, Fen participated in a fun “Summer of Ruff” challenge alongside his friends Scandal and Envy, earning additional performance titles. He has also shown great promise as a junior handling dog, being successfully shown by Aliyah, where they earned a 1st place finish together as well as Aliyah’s BFF Charlotte. We are extremely excited to see what the future holds for this amazing boy.
