About Faelan: Can you say sweetheart? Faelan truly got the best of both worlds, with both parents known for their exceptionally gentle temperaments. Faelan is an outstanding girl who adores people, other dogs, and all animals. She has a particular fondness for puppies and babies, whether they are her own or not, and consistently shows a soft, nurturing nature. She thrives as a house dog, happiest when close to her people and receiving attention. Faelan is highly people-oriented, eager to please, and consistently gentle in all her interactions. She is also exceptionally intelligent and a very quick learner. Faelan is the most trusted, loyal, and obedient dog we have ever owned, and she consistently demonstrates an exceptional level of reliability and connection with her family. Affectionate by nature, Faelan loves head scratches, hugs, and belly rubs. She is my moms very special girl, her heart & soul and they share a very deep connection. Faelan also possesses strong drive and enthusiasm in harness work. As soon as the sled gear comes out, she becomes vocal and excited, eager to run. She is a very capable and enthusiastic sled dog. If Faelan has one defining quirk, it would be her vocal nature – she is not shy about expressing her opinions when things do not go her way. However, this only adds to her personality. Above all, Faelan is a true sweetheart, and she is deeply loved and cherished by all of us, and all who have the pleasure of meeting her.
Achievements: Faelan first entered the Baby Puppy class at 4 months of age, where she may not have taken home ribbons, but made an immediate impression with her excellent ring presence, structure, and well-mannered behaviour. She returned to the ring as a class dog and quickly found success, earning 2 Winners Female, 2 Best of Winners, and 1 Best Puppy in Breed (over specials), for a total of 4 points in her very first weekend of competition. She also placed third in Puppy Sweepstakes. Faelan continued her momentum in May 2018, earning 6 Winners Female, 2 Best of Winners, and 5 Best of Opposites to complete her Canadian Championship in just three show weekends. Moving into the specials class, she impressed further by earning 2 Select Female wins and 1 Best of Opposite (over multiple specials, including her dam Flare), adding 3 Grand Championship points. At the Grande Prairie dog show in June 2018, where there was a large entry of 14 Siberians, Faelan continued to excel, earning 3 Select Female placements and 1 Best of Opposite Sex for an additional 8 Grand Championship points. In March 2019, she returned to the ring and finished her Canadian Grand Championship in style, going 3/3 Best of Opposites over a large entry of females. Faelan is an exceptional sled dog and absolutely loves mushing. She runs confidently in lead and demonstrates both intelligence and enthusiasm in harness work. During 2020, while show opportunities were limited due to COVID-19, she earned her Novice Trick Dog title. On June 1, 2021, Faelan earned her 2-K9 Ruff Run title. She also explored agility in summer 2021, successfully completing Novice, Low Intermediate, and Intermediate levels with ease. In 2023, she was selected by the UNBC Animal Behaviour Lab to participate in a scientific behavioural study and graduated as a Science Dog. In November 2023, she earned her Triple Threat title. In 2024, Faelan returned to the ring with great success, earning Best Veteran in Show, 2 Best Altered in Show awards (completing her Altered Championship), and 4 Best Brace in Show wins alongside Mystic. Faelan’s favourite sport in the world is sprinters, she earned her Veteran Novice and Sprinter title her first year in the sport. The 2025 show season continued her success, where she earned 4 Best Altered in Show awards, 4 Best Brace in Show wins with Mystic, and 2 Best Veteran in Show awards. In July 2025, Faelan completed her Veteran Advanced Sprinter title with 6 qualifying runs, followed by Veteran Sprinter Excellent and Veteran Sprinter Excellent 2 titles in fall 2025. In April 2026, she was awarded Best Veteran in National Specialty and Best Veteran in BC Specialty. Faelan continues to be an outstanding, versatile, and deeply accomplished dog, loved very much and admired for everything she has achieved.
