About Onyx: Onyx is our WILD child and truly lives up to her name ‘Nothing just Trouble’. Also known as the gremlin dog, she is always up to something! Onyx came to us from Winter Melody Siberians in Poland at 4 months old and I will never forget the first time I met her. I opened up the crate at the cargo hold in the Edmonton airport and this crazy little black and white puppy jumped out at me screaming and giving kisses immediately. She is fearless! From the moment she stepped foot in Canada she has been the most outgoing little girl and absolutely loves people! Onyx loves to go crazy and do 100’s of zoomies around the yards. She loves to play with the other dogs, but is one of our most dominant females. Aside from Onyx being the crazy wild girl, she is also extremely sweet. She loves her cuddles and to sleep on the bed, and she always gives us that look that is full of love. Onyx is very prey driven and would be excellent at barn hunt or sprinting. She also has wonderful drive and is a powerhouse on the dogsled! Onyx is very smart and really enjoys mind games! We love our crazy girl!!
Achievements: Onyx entered the show ring for the first time and she blew us away by taking 4 Winners Females, 4 Best of Winners, 2 Best Puppy in Breeds, 2 Best of Opposites (over specials), a Best of Breed (over multiple specials) and a Best Puppy in Group for a total of 8 points her first weekend out!! She also picked up a Best Puppy in Sweeps the first time she stepped foot into a show ring beating a huge entry of puppies (all different breeds) including puppies who were already champions. Onyx did not disappoint us as she continued to do amazing things in May 2018 when she took Winners Female, Best of Winners and Best of Breed from the classes to finish her Canadian Championship in less than 2 show weekends!! This girl is super fun to show! Onyx has ran every position on our sled team and has excelled at them all, she has become a consistent choice for running lead as well! In 2020 Onyx earned her Novice Trick title. In 2021 Onyx was awarded her 2k9 Ruff Run title!! Onyx was entered in a show as a specials in 2021 and took 3 Select females for 6 points towards her Grand Championship! We entered Onyx in the brood bitch class at the specialty shows in Chilliwack with her daughters Eb & Iv and she was awarded all 3 Best Brood Bitch in shows! Nov 2023 Onyx earned her Triple Threat title! We love our little gremlin!
